Born in the Dominican Republic, Dahiana’s early exposure to the challenges facing her community ignited a lifelong dedication to expanding opportunities for others. This commitment led her to a career in social work, spanning from New York City across the New England region, driven by a mission to bridge gaps in social justice and economic inequality. Through the years of service, Dahiana has become a popular figure with the people—the unofficial mayor of her city, as many turn to her advice for guidance.

Today, Dahiana specializes in mental health training, navigating complex crisis, housing instability, domestic violence, and human trafficking. She leverages this unique blend of empathy and clinical insight to help organizations foster more inclusive, impactful environments.

To deepen her clinical impact, she complemented her social work background with a Master’s in Psychology. Outside of her professional pursuits, she finds joy and balance through Latin dancing and caring for her dog.
